While we recognize how simple, beautiful and profound the traditional Reiki system is, we also know that Japan in the early 20th century is a quite different place from New York or Paris or Vancouver in 2024, and have created a program that takes that into account, combining the traditional origins with contemporary techniques that can be used right here, right now

Reiki Certification Classes

Reiki Level 1

$375.00

This class is offered both in-person and online.

This level is called Shoden, and means "First Teachings" in Japanese. It is the beginning of your journey, so we start with you. This level provides the foundation for your Reiki journey by helping you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships, enhance your spiritual connection to life, and develop a meditation practice to improve and hone your focus.

Includes:

An initiation to Reiki
Meditation techniques to support you in grounding and clearing your energy
Energy awareness exercises - how do you experience energy? There are as many ways to experience energy as there are people.
Techniques for understanding energetic boundaries - where do I end and you begin?
The Reiki precepts/Gokai
Techniques for understanding how YOU sense/interpret the energy around you
Hand placements for self-healing - one traditional protocol, one protocol designed to work specifically in YOUR life, one protocol designed to work with anger, worry, gratitude, and focus
Traditional symbol and technique for grounding and becoming present

Level 1:

Reiki Level 2

$400.00

This level is all about harmony - harmony within yourself, harmony with other people, harmony in your environment. The Japanese word for this level is Okuden meaning "Inner Teachings." The Western world sometimes calls this “mental/emotional” level. That is because it provides you with the light and the clarity to see through the layers and layers of limiting beliefs that we all carry and truly experience the primordial spark of who you are. The real you - the one before the limiting beliefs were formed.

Includes:

An initiation to the Level 2 symbols
Working with others on a massage table
Mental/emotional treatment for shifting limiting beliefs/patterns/habits
Working with Reiki at a distance
Clearing energy before and after a session
Core/hara development
Understanding the projections the world places on us, and that we place on the world around us (this is not intended as a replacement for counselling or coaching certification)
trauma-informed healing (this is not intended as a replacement for somatic healing, counselling or coaching certification)

Level 2:

Reiki Level 1/2

For some students, it makes more sense to take Reiki Level 1&2 over one weekend. We get that. The world is a busy place. For those students, we have designed a Level 1/2 class that takes place in two days. The class will include support afterward. If you have questions about whether this option is right for you, please reach out. We'd love to answer them.

These classes can also be taken separately on the same weekend.

Level 1/2:

Reiki Level 3

$475.00

This level is called Shinpiden meaning "Mystery Teachings" in Japanese.

We are all one, and this level is all about exactly that. As we deepen our connection to ourselves, we deepen our awareness of spirit.

Includes:

Introduction & Initiation to Symbol number 3
Reiki meditation using Symbol number 3
How to perform the ritual of Rei-ju (a blessing and form of initiation)
Using Reiki to clear energetic patterns, disturbances, thought forms, etc - on self and on clients
Scanning the energy body/Byosen scanning
Kotodama (chanting seed sounds)
Microcosmic Orbit (a method of meditation that connects our inner yin and yang)
The symbol for joy –couldn’t we all use a little more of that?

Level 3:

Reiki Teacher Training

A Reiki Teacher Training program that covers not only the essential elements of the system of Reiki, but also, the fundamentals of teaching and course development. It is created with the aim to provide the teacher with the foundational knowledge needed to hold a learner centred environment while allowing for the teacher to weave their own gifts into the program.

This program sets itself apart by offering a comprehensive approach to becoming a well-rounded Reiki teacher. While learning to perform initiations and to teach the symbols is essential, it’s only one piece of the puzzle. Our program dives deeper into the art of teaching itself—covering how to design lessons, manage class dynamics, and foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment. This holistic approach creates confident, empowered teachers who are fully prepared to lead with both expertise and heart.
