Community Events

At The Centre, community is at the heart of everything we do.

Our Reiki Programs Are Built Around Community

Reiki is a personal practice, but it was never meant to be a solitary one. Without community, somethingvital is missing. We need spaces where we can share experiences, ask questions, be witnessed, and grow together. That’s why we created our community events—so you don’t have to navigate your practice alone. Whether you're just starting out or have been practicing for years, these gatherings offer connection, support, and a reminder that we’re in this together

Reiki Share
$0.00

Our monthly online Reiki Share is a space to land, reconnect, and be in community. It’s open to everyone—whether you’ve trained in Reiki or are simply curious about what it’s all about. In fact, it can be a great way to experience Reiki for the first time.

We begin with a short Reiki meditation to help us settle and reconnect with the part of us that already is Reiki—reminding us of the unity we share. After that, we move into small breakout groups for Reiki practice. It’s relaxed, unstructured, and grounded.

All of our events are trauma-informed. That means we prioritize choice, care, and respect for wherever you’re at. You’re welcome to participate in whatever way feels right for you.

The share is offered by voluntary donation, with 100% of proceeds going to Watari Counselling Services, an organization providing crucial support to individuals and families navigating complex challenges.

Reiki isn’t something we “do”—it’s something we are. And when we come together in that spirit, something real happens.

We’d love to have you with us.

When ? Every FIRST Saturday of the month. ( Sep 6th, Oct 4th, Nov 1st, Dec 6th 2025… 10am to 11:30am PST)

Deepening your Practice
$0.00

Deepening Your Practice is a free monthly online gathering for anyone interested in exploring Reiki more deeply—whether you’re an experienced practitioner, just beginning, or simply curious.

Each evening includes a meditation, a focused teaching, and time for practice and reflection. You’ll receive a detailed manual ahead of time to help ground the session and support your ongoing learning. Past topics have included grounding, energetic boundaries, and projections—always chosen to support not just our skills as Reiki practitioners, but how we navigate life.

As with everything we offer, this gathering is trauma-informed and rooted in community. Because Reiki isn’t meant to be practiced in isolation—and neither are we. This is a space to ask questions, explore together, and stay connected to something larger than ourselves.

Whether you’re deep in your Reiki journey or just feeling curious, you’re welcome here.

When ? Every THIRD Thursday of the month. ( Sep 18th, Oct 16th, Nov 20th, Dec 18th 2025… 6:30pm to 8:00pm PST)

Free Intro to Reiki Level 1/Shoden
$0.00

Tuesday, March 31st, 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm PST On ZOOM

A lot of people come to Reiki because something in their experience doesn’t quite make sense yet.

They’re aware of other people in a way that feels hard to turn off. They notice shifts in mood or energy without trying to, and it can be difficult to tell what belongs to them and what doesn’t. There are also moments where something feels clear, but it doesn’t hold, and it gets questioned or dismissed.

What’s often missing isn’t the experience itself, but a way of understanding it.

In this free introductory class, we’ll focus on perception — what’s sometimes referred to as the clair senses — and look at it in a practical, grounded way. Not as something special, but as something most people are already experiencing in subtle and inconsistent ways.

We’ll cover:

  • the different ways perception can show up, including feeling, knowing, seeing, and hearing

  • why these experiences are often confusing or unreliable

  • how expectation and effort interfere with clarity

You’ll also be guided through a simple Reiki practice so you can experience this directly and begin to recognize how this works in your own system.

You’ll leave with a clearer sense of how you personally register information, what you may have been overlooking, and a simple way to begin working with it without trying to force or figure it out.

Reiki Level 1 doesn’t focus on developing these experiences as abilities. What it does do is give you a structure that helps you understand them, so they become clearer, more consistent, and less confusing over time.

Drawing your symbols? That's cute. Now, let's give them a voice!
$45.00

For Reiki Level 3 practitioners.

You've mastered the forms. You know the symbols. But sometimes, the energy feels stuck, contracted. The flow isn't there. You know there's a deeper level, but you can't seem to access it.

That's because the key is not the form, but the Space it holds. In esoteric traditions, the element of Space (Ether - Akasha) is intrinsically linked to Sound. A symbol that is only drawn is silent; it's an empty vessel.

In this workshop, we will fill that vessel. Using the principles of Kototama (the Japanese science of pure sound), you will learn to voice your symbols. To chant them is to recreate their original space, unlocking their energy and revealing their true essence.

Key Details:

  • Format: 90-minute online workshop.

  • Date: Saturday, August 9, 2025.

  • Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM (Vancouver Time).

Reiki Teacher Training

A Reiki Teacher Training program that covers not only the essential elements of the system of Reiki, but also, the fundamentals of teaching and course development. It is created with the aim to provide the teacher with the foundational knowledge needed to hold a learner centred environment while allowing for the teacher to weave their own gifts into the program.

This program sets itself apart by offering a comprehensive approach to becoming a well-rounded Reiki teacher. While learning to perform initiations and to teach the symbols is essential, it’s only one piece of the puzzle. Our program dives deeper into the art of teaching itself—covering how to design lessons, manage class dynamics, and foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment. This holistic approach creates confident, empowered teachers who are fully prepared to lead with both expertise and heart.
