Why Reiki Teacher Training ?

You’ve decided you would like to take the next step in your Reiki journey and become a teacher. That’s freaking awesome! Reiki is meant to be shared and the more of us who are out there spreading the transformative beauty of this system, the more joyful our world will be. That is a fact.

So, what now?

Well, yes, it is time to learn to perform Reiju (initiations/attunements), for it is one of the five pillars of Reiki. This ritual is powerful, beautiful, and transformative, and with the ability to perform it comes responsibility. This is why we believe that learning to perform initiations is only a part of what it means to be a Reiki teacher.

Our program will teach you:

  • How to Confidently Perform Two Different Styles of Reiju/Initiation

  • New Symbols - Fire Serpent, Tibetan Dai Ko Myo

  • Curriculum for Level 1, 2, 3, Teacher

  • How to prepare a Course Outline - how do you weave YOUR special skills, gifts, techniques into the traditional class; Reiki is fluid and so should your class be

  • How to create a strong energetic class container and hold space for your students

  • How to Manage group dynamics and energy

  • How to Lead Guided Meditation

  • Chanting Kototama and Gokai

  • How to Instruct Students in  Tablework

  • Teaching Techniques - group work, experiential learning, individual learning; techniques for different learning styles and introverted/extroverted learners

  • How to Teach Online

Why ONLINE?

We have decided to offer this program online because we sincerely believe that the amount of information that will be shared is too much for a weekend. We want you to have time to absorb and practice between classes. The techniques, philosophies, and practices you will be learning work extremely well in an online environment.

Meet Your Reiki Teachers

Why Are We Awesome?

Frederique Morel - Fred has been studying Reiki for 13 years and her original training was martial and done by an Aikido instructor and osteopath, in the Japanese District of Bangkok. She has since studied with many teachers, including Frans Stiene. Suffice to say, Fred's jam is traditional Reiki… Well Japanese, because she will find the origin of the tradition and put it in the context of modern days. Her knowledge of the system is vast and fascinating. Wanna know how the 8 Fold Path is Integrated into the system of Reiki? Yeah, ask Fred. She knows. Her clients are mostly online now, because she likes them to be in the comfort of their own home, to go directly to the point.

Karen McCullough - Karen has been practicing Reiki for 22 years and has been a school teacher for 25 years. In addition to studying Reiki, she took the three year Integrative Energy Healing program offered by Langara College. She works with a variety of energetic systems including the meridian system, the chakra system, and, of course, the physiological body. First and foremost, she believes that the purpose of energy healing is to empower the recipient to believe that they are the one who get to choose what happens next and that everything the need (truly!) lies within. She is also educated in and skilled at guiding clients through emotion and trauma during her sessions.

Fred and Karen have merged their two perspectives to create a truly unique experience. They are clear about what actually comes from the traditional Reiki system and what has been added over the years through interpretation. They are educated in trauma and believe that all programs like ours must be trauma-informed
