We will explore real life conditions that arise when clients are on the table. You must have certification at any Reiki Level to join this evening. Some weeks we'll also hone the focus on specific issues - say, backs or emotions, the endocrine or nervous system, or on further deepening skill like sensing energy. This is a deep practice night: we'll learn with each other, through each other.
Student Practice Night takes place every fourth Wednesday with Reiki Master Teacher Karen McCullough
The student Practice night will not be held in August, 2017
Reiki Exchanges are opportunities to practice giving – and receiving! – Reiki. Working in small groups, all participants take a turn on the Reiki table. You may have several people working on you at one time, so even 15 minutes can make a difference! (ie. 4 people on 1 for 15 minutes would be equivalent to receiving an hour treatment!)
If you are not initiated into Reiki you can still participate – in fact – it is a great way to experience what Reiki is!
Reiki Exchanges are held on the third Wednesday of each month and are hosted by a member of the Westcoast Reiki Centre team
The Reiki Exchange will not be held in August, 2017
Guided imagery is used to support participants in achieving a meditative state. Techniques from all traditions are explored with an emphasis placed on the practice of mindfulness.
A recurring event every other month, the Spotlight series discusses a specific topic within the Animal Reiki practice. The evening is divided into an hour of instruction, 30 mins. of Q&A from students and 30 mins. of meditation focused on sending Reiki to animals in our life or community that need it most at this time.
Please note: you do need a Reiki level to attend (any level and any Reiki tradition is fine and you don’t need to have been actively doing Reiki). Bonus: you can also make use of the Centre's extensive Reiki reference library while at the Centre.
Animal Reiki Spotlight is facilitated by Reiki Master Teacher Marta Banat
